2010 Message from the Network Person
It has been five years since LEAD-links' inception. The organisation has been registered as an entity. It has drawn up a constitution which will ensure good governance. The Network's research projects have been finalized and are in the process of being published.
This website has given LEAD-link a global face whilst its electronic newsletter communicates information about its practices and research undertaken.
During 17 - 19 November 2009, the Local Network Co-ordinators met in Dar Es Salaam for a workshop.Three completed projects, namely 'The Influence of School Leadership on Teachers' Work Behaviour', 'Leadership Role Models in .Africa' and 'Issues Surrounding Women Leadership in Education' were presented during the workshop. We are eagerly awaiting the publishing of these findings.
A Network update was given by John Mandia the Network Person. The LNCs drafted Mission and Vision Statements which will be presented and interrogated during the next Directors' Conference.
